Virtual Boy Programmer Updated

I’m working on a few Virtual Boy projects at the moment. Never thought I’d be working on this many VB projects 20 years after first seeing it in a Circuit City.

This one is an update to my cartridge programmer adapter. I changed the form factor to plug into an Arduino mega R3. I’m going to write the microcontroller code to build a complete game reader and programmer. I had issues with my normal flash programmer due to the extra length added by the original programming adapter. Due to that I’ve decided to build the whole thing so I can control and debug the entire chain.

The programmer part is for writing to my new 128Mbit VB cartridge. This cartridge will allow maximum sized VB games to be written along with development of a multi-cart.
